1st semester

So its break. First semester of sophmore year is now over. TIme is flying like i can't even explain. This year has been a different year. I like it though. This year has lacked the dramatic elements of last year... there was no sleeping in through tests and almost failing classes. no boyfriends that seemed to good to be true because they were. no huge fights. no nites in someone elses bed. there was not as much staying up late laughing and doing crazy random things but there still have been a good amount. This year, there has been more studying, more of getting to know a lot of people, a few interesting/fun/crazy/boring weeekends lots of nites at steak n shake but specifically the spin the bottle nite, different parties like the one where i ripped my pants halloween weekend, or the time at caseys where it was a good nite until a few things made it turn for the worse, there was a time when the nites were warm when i hung out on "the porch" and got to know pretty much the whole baseball team, there were a good number of soccer games which ended up leading us down to florida for the weekend. pretty much the best weekend ever, getting to go to the beach and run around in the waves... early fall getting to know someone over the phone until that ended abruptly, making chorale and getting to travel with them has been great, i've loved being able to sing and worship God that way. hangin out in old friends rooms until late and having lots of laughs and pizza with new friends. filthy four was always interesting and i appreciated their help with math too. i've enjoyed getting to know even more people this year. I always love to make new friends. Its been good.
Now its break time. Break is always bittersweet. I like not having school, but tis kinda sad at the same time. everyone leaves and i am still here in marion. i make it work, i always do. I'm looking forward to next semester though. I don't know what classes i'm taking yet though. Yup i'm not registered yet...
