don't panic

so far this is a summer of running. not of actually running, i'm lazy as hell. i'm running from the past. recent past that is.
i've been swimming, drinking and sleeping off last semester. trying to move on from the sickness of the body and soul. trying to run over the struggles of the past.
i've done a good job so far. i like to call it moving on. once and a while i stop to catch my breath and the scenery of the past haunts me.
oh but its a beautiful world we live in. the hills and valleys are something to look back on and smile and continue the journey.
i cannot forget the ones who come and go on the journey with us. i love my friends and fellow travelers. if not for them this rootless tree would have fallen a long time ago.
